Print Fair is a traveling exhibition celebrating the democratic nature of printmaking and its ability to spark dialogue and collective imagination. We invite artists from St. Louis, Nashville, Chicago, Charlotte, Indianapolis, New York, and Grand Rapids/Holland to submit print-based works that reflect socially engaged themes.
We welcome a wide range of print formats—from traditional to contemporary– and are seeking works that thoughtfully explore race, gender, sexuality, ecology, identity, labor, justice, and community for an exhibit that reflects diverse and lived experiences.
This traveling show was created through community and conversation shared by DIY gallery spaces across the country. The exhibition will debut at Red Gate Gallery in St. Louis.
